The scope of M.Sc. (Agri) Agronomy is very broad with opportunities in Govt sectors, ARS, SAUs and CAUs, KVKs to private sectors (seed production, pesticide, fertilisers industries etc.)

Working in agriculture sectors involves existing challenges, such a exploring a new innovative technology to enhancing the crop production and modern technology for the agriculture and ensuring the environmental sustainability.


It covers packages and practices of crop cultivation, nutrient Management, and enhancing the nutritive value of produce through organic farming.     


Eligibility: B.Sc (Ag.) or B.Sc (Hons.) Ag.

Duration: The course is typically four semesters (two years). It includes classroom lectures, lab work, self-employability & methods of field experiments & thesis work.
